Mihingo Safari Lodge
This spectacular family-owned Lodge is set in an incredible setting, just adjacent to Lake Mburo National Park, and is only 90 minutes’ drive from Mbarara town and the Airstrip. Mihingo is perched high on a Rocky kopje whose boulders were formed over 500 million years ago, and commands jaw-dropping views of the stunning savannah plains and other landscapes.
Guests are accommodated in 12 private and tranquil luxury-tented rooms at the Lodge that provide magnificent views of the sprawling savannah plains and the verdant green valley. These views can also be enjoyed while unwinding at the Infinity swimming pool.
Each of the private tented rooms is beautifully designed to provide a unique charm and character (overlooking the Lake, on a rocky outcrop, down by the water hole, or hidden in the forest). Kigambira safari lodge

Mburo safari lodge

Lake Mburo Camp
Along the side of Rwamahungu Hill is Lake Mburo Camp, a small but beautiful accommodation facility that commands great views over Lake Mburo as well as its surrounding ecosystems. Each of the Camp’s spacious 9 Tents sits on wooden decks, hence perfectly blending with the natural environment and has vast bedroom, a sitting area, a mini-bar and dining area, an en-suite bathroom (with a shower, clean towel, toiletries and dressing mirror) and a veranda that overlooks the Valley, lake and other ecosystems.
Owned/managed by Kimbla-Mantana Lake Mburo Camp, has a bar and dining area on a raised wooden platform that offers phenomenal views of the Lake, and meals are prepared by professional chefs with the highest standards. The Camp’s location makes it possible for visitors to sight numerous wildlife species such as Cape buffaloes, common warthogs, Burchell’s zebras, Defassa waterbucks, and impalas, among others.
Hyena Hill Lodge
Along the border of the spectacular Lake Mburo National Park and a stone’s throw from Sanga Gate is Hyena Hill Lodge, known for providing great views of the Park.
It comes with 10 elegant and spacious rooms that have been specially built in traditional African style (including grass-thatched roofs and local raw materials). Mpogo safari lodge
Mpogo Safari Lodge is set on top of a Hill in the outcasts of Lake Mburo National Park. It provides a tranquil, cool, and relaxing environment and allows guests to take in magnificent views of the Protected Area.
Accommodation is provided in 14 rooms (in single, double, and twin room configurations), and comes en-suite bathroom (featuring clean flush toilets, hot/cold running water, sink, and shower).
Originally established as a simple farmhouse, it has two private luxurious grass-thatched cottages with two rooms each. The rooms were beautifully designed to blend into the local surroundings with great attention to detail.
Mpogo Lodge’s main Lodge building has a restaurant that can accommodate between 25 and 30 guests at a time, and a fully-stocked bar. The Lodge is connected to hydroelectricity, although solar energy is also used.

The Luxury Safari Tents are grass-thatched, raised on a stunning wooden floor, and have a beautiful veranda for guests to enjoy sunset views.

The Cosy Camping option makes it possible for guests to relish the wilderness experience without having to sleep on the ground. Each of the Tents sits on an elevated concrete platform and is covered by a grass-thatched roof. They also come with hand-crafted beds made with local raw materials, shared toilet and shower facilities.
Bush Camping is also available at Leopard Rest Camp and is perfect for guests with their Tents. This option comes with close-by shared toilet and shower amenities, a functional kitchen (but guests can choose to enjoy meals from the Camp restaurant).

Rwakobo Rock
Rwakobo Rock is set on a scenic rock outcrop at the border of Lake Mburo National Park and only 1 kilometer from Nshara Gate. This secluded and eco-friendly Retreat provides guests the opportunity to feel the real essence of the wilderness. Providing accommodation in private, cozy, and airy Cottages that are dotted all over the Hill, guests are treated to incredible sunset views. The 9 cottages, 3 classic safari tents, and 5 bedrooms in the shared Hornbill house come with their own private en-suite bathroom and bathroom.
There’s a well-stocked bar (with cold soft drinks, wine, spirits, and cold Ugandan beers) in the main lodge building. The restaurant is also available, as well as charging stations and a Wi-Fi internet connection.
Mburo Eagle’s Nest
Nestled high on a hill close to Lake Mburo National Park is Mburo Eagle’s Nest, a budget Tented Camp that boasts one of the most spectacular views in the Park. It has 10 African safari Tents that overlook the Park, and each comes with twin beds, a private veranda for enjoying endless views.
