Day 1: Travel to Kidepo Valley National Park

You will leave Kampala very early in the morning and get on tis 10 hours’ journey to Kidepo Valley National Park located in the north eastern side of Uganda. You will have stop overs for lunch and sightseeing at particular destinations. Enjoy scenic views of the East as you drive through the village areas and soon or later arrive at Kidepo Valley National Park. Check in at the lodge, relax, have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game Drive and Cultural Encounter

After breakfast at the lodge, you will head out to the park for a morning game drive to spot wild animals like the elephants, elands, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, hyenas, ostriches and several antelopes among others. Retire for lunch at the lodge and go out for a cultural encounter with the Karamojong to learn about their life style and their traditions. You will later engage in another game drive to explore the night life with the nocturnal life for animals like the bat eared foxes, leopards, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, black-backed jackals, bush babies, serval cats among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Nature Walk and Game Drive

Start the day with breakfast and head to Kanangorok hot springs for a nature walk. Sightings of Ostriches are expected on a lucky day as you also enjoy scenic views of the area. You will return for a lunch break and launch an evening game drive to spot leopards, cheetahs, elephants, elands, zebras and several antelopes. Drive to the lodge for relaxation later, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Departure

After breakfast, embark on a 10-hour drive returning to Kampala arriving in the evening.
