Details of the itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi

You will fly into Entebbe International airport and be welcomed by an experienced safari guide representing Superfine Safaris Limited. After the meet and greet, start off the journey to Bwindi Forest National Park. The journey takes 7-9 hours driving through the beautiful countryside towards the southwest where Bwindi is located. Stopovers at different tour attractions like the Equator Point and Igongo Cultural Center will be part of your journey. Proceed to Kabale, enjoying the beautiful rolling hills of Kigezi before arriving at your lodge in the park. Check in at the lodge and refresh, have dinner and spend a night there.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Cultural Encounter

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the park offices to be briefed with other guests on the dos and don’ts of the Gorilla Trekking experience. You will soon be allocated a gorilla group to track and soon be led into the forest for the trekking experience. The experience takes several hours hiking through the thick undergrowth and soon you meet the habituated Gorillas.

3 Days Bwindi gorilla tourThe guide will have all your questions answered, and this experience will go on for about one hour. Enjoy setting your eyes on other inhabitants, like the beautiful birds. Return to the starting point and meet your guide and head to the lodge for your lunch and relaxation. After lunch, you will head out for a cultural encounter, visiting the local community to catch up with their daily lives. Enjoy cultural performances from locals and visit local craftsmen for souvenirs. You will then return to the lodge for refreshment, dinner, and overnight

Day 3: Departure                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       After breakfast at the lodge, you will set off very early and join your guide on the journey back to Kampala and proceed to the airport for your final flight.
