Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and travel from Arusha to Lake Manyara

A journey to Lake Manyara National Park in Tanzania will start early in the morning after you have breakfast and a short briefing. Lake Manyara National Park lies between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley in the Arusha and Manyara Regions. Today, it will take about 3-4 hours to drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara. Once you have reached, proceed to check in your respective lodge or camp to relax, and lunch will also be provided to you by professional staff.

Leave your safari camps for a guided game drive in the afternoon. A game drive in Lake Manyara will expose you to the Park’s abundant wildlife including elephants, tree-climbing lions, warthogs, impalas, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and birds like flamingos.

Day 2: Game drive and drive to Ngorongoro

Meet the driver guide early morning and today, you will check out then proceed with a game drive. On a game drive, you will be catching up with diverse wildlife as they become very active for the day, including elephants, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions (plus the tree-climbing lions), and more. From Lake Manyara National Park, drive safely to Ngorongoro Crater (265 km), about 5-hour drive. You will have a guided game drive late in the afternoon and this involves descending through the Ngorongoro Crater.

Leave Ngorongoro for Serengeti, where you will arrive in time for you to have lunch at leisure.

It is time to embark on a full day tour in Serengeti. Leave with some packed lunch and enough bottled drinking water. Start the day with an early morning game drive and end it in the afternoon. You will wind through the plains of Serengeti with higher chance to spot wildlife such as lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, rhinos, and more.

A brief break will be made to let you enjoy a picnic lunch, but don’t forget to keep an eye on some of the wildlife as they go about their day. Continue with the afternoon session for you to spot more wildlife with company of experienced guide. At the end of the afternoon, you will be driven back to the lodge to relax.
