The Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up at the Airport in Arusha and Travel to a hotel

Once you have landed at the airport in Arusha, you will meet your driver-guide, who will then transfer you to the hotel. At the hotel, you will check in, and later, our safari expert will take you through the itinerary in detail. After the briefing, you will enjoy your dinner and rest for the night.

Day 2: Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

Have an early morning breakfast, then meet your driver guide and set out on your first road trip adventure. Tarangire will be your first place to visit, which is less than 3 hours’ drive. This Park lies in the Northern circuit of Tanzania, south of Lake Manyara. Check in your camp or lodge early and have a leisurely lunch meal plus some refreshments. Leave the camp for an afternoon game drive through the lush plains of Tarangire and expect to come across giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas, lions, elephants, birds, zebras, and not to miss the huge baobab trees.

Embark on an early morning game drive session and expect to find sun risers as they become active. Navigate through the vast savannas, bushland, and scenic Tarangire River region as you look for more wildlife. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the bush, and you will proceed with the last session of game viewing. Overall, expect to encounter lots of buffaloes, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and other antelopes.

In the afternoon, you will embark on the first game drive session through the Ngorongoro Crater area. The Ngorongoro is popular for its incredible wildlife diversity, and you can expect to spot several of them, including elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, lions, and leopards.

After a short tour at the Olduvai Gorge, you will continue to Serengeti to chill and also enjoy lunch.
