Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi, undertake an optional visit to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Orphanage.
Welcome to Kenya, the land of safaris and endless wildlife adventures. Comprising more than 50 Protected Areas (23 Parks and 28 Reserves), this beautiful country is one of the unmissable African safari destinations for unforgettable wildlife experiences. This is evidenced by your arrival at Nairobi, as this City has its own National Park.
On getting to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your private driver will pick you up for the drive to the Hotel, and en route, look out for the stunning attractions. Depending on your arrival time, there’s an optional visit to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Here, you will be amazed by how orphaned young elephants are rescued and cared for until they are ready to be released into the wild. Aside from viewing the baby elephants, you can choose to sponsor one of the orphans and even feed or tuck your adopted elephant to bed.

Day 2: Drive to Aberdare National Park, evening game drive
Grab some breakfast, and you’re off to your official first Kenyan honeymoon destination- Aberdare National Park. This spectacular 767-square-kilometer Protected Area is nestled in the towering Aberdare Mountains and is renowned for its diverse ecosystems as well as jaw-dropping landscapes.
After a 3-4-hour drive, you will arrive at the Park in time for lunch while taking in views of the surrounding landscapes and wildlife species.

Day 3: Aberdare National Park morning and afternoon game drives
Arise and shine! Enjoy breakfast, carry a packed picnic lunch, and hop in an open-topped safari jeep for a game drive through Aberdare National Park. Often referred to as the “Majestic Moorland”, this Park is a wonderful introduction to the country’s endless natural beauty, marked by verdant forested ravines as well as wide-open moorlands that provide shelter to a wide array of wildlife and birds. This full-day game drive will introduce you to herds of African bush elephants, leopards, Olive baboons, Cape buffaloes, the rare African golden cat, the black and white colobus monkeys, Sykes monkeys, warthogs, the rare Bongo antelope, Giant forest hogs, alongside over 250 bird species.
There will be occasional stops for breakfast and picnic lunch, returning to the Lodge late afternoon after witnessing the golden sunset over the Protected Area. You will be treated to a heart bush dinner with views of the stars.

Day 4: Scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, evening game drive
Leave Aberdare National Park behind and head to your next honeymoon destination, which is Lake Nakuru. As you transition from the mist-covered forests and mountains to valley open grasslands and acacia woodlands, expect to enjoy views of the beautiful Lake and large flocks of flamingos that Lake Nakuru is known for. Settle in at the Lodge, have lunch, and embark on an evening game drive. Black and white Rhinos, lions, buffaloes, leopards, Hippos, Olive baboons, Defassa waterbucks, zebras, and flocks of flamingos are some of the sights to expect during this drive.

Day 5: Connect to Masai Mara Game Reserve, relax
Your Kenya Honeymoon adventure continues as you depart for Masai Mara National Reserve, the country’s most popular and unmissable safari destination. This 580-square-kilometer Protected Area borders Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, and together are playing grounds/hosts of the famous great annual migration involves millions of wildebeests accompanied by zebras, gazelles, and other antelopes.
During your 6-hour drive, get treated to sprawling views of the sweeping plains and highlands, with en-route highlights being the Great Rift Valley and others. The rest of the day is spent at leisure, such as relaxing with a drink or exploring the surrounding rolling hills and grasslands.

Day 6: Full-day Masai Mara safari
An early wake-up call, as the animals will not be waiting for you. Today, you have two Masai Mara adventures- a hot air balloon tour and an afternoon game drive. Transfer to the launch site for the sunrise ride above the golden grasslands, towering acacia trees, winding rivers, and other landscapes as the sun starts to peek over the beautiful horizon. Keep an eye out for the elephants, buffaloes, lions, wildebeests, warthogs, leopards, cheetahs, Rhinos, waterbucks, gazelles, zebras, spotted hyenas, jackals, Masai giraffes, Hippos, Bat-eared foxes, and many others. After this exciting adventure, get treated to a bush breakfast right in the heart of the wilderness.
Be sure to fill up, as after the hot air balloon ride, you will embark on a full-blown game drive for more Masai Mara wildlife, increasingly ticking your checklist and spotting the species that were missed during the hot air balloon tour. Stop for a picnic lunch or hot meal at the Lodge and continue with your adventure until sunset.

Day 7: Fly back to Nairobi, Flight to Entebbe, Uganda
Meet your private safari driver for a transfer to the airstrip and embark on the domestic flight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. From there, you will take a commercial flight to Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport, transfer to your Hotel, and have the rest of the day free.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Embark on the 8-9-hour drive to southwestern Uganda, with stops en route for equator crossing experiments, coffee, and lunch.
This is one of the most rewarding drives, and you will arrive at the Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Bwindi Mountain gorilla trekking adventure
Bwindi Gorilla trekking adventures begin with a transfer to the Park Headquarters for a briefing on the etiquette to be followed while searching and spending time with the Giant Apes. Later, be allocated to one of the numerous habituated gorilla families, then walk or transfer to the trailhead. You will start hiking through the thick undergrowth with Rangers and guides, and this will last anywhere between one and six hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family.
Once sighted, spend one hour watching and photographing them, while maintaining a distance of 7 meters and following other guidelines. While in their presence, the guide will explain different gorilla behavior and characteristics. After your unforgettable experience, return to the Lodge for a well-deserved meal.

Day 10: Road transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
