Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After an early breakfast at the lodge, our representative from Superfine Safaris will pick you up from your hotel or lodge and immediately embark on a 4-5-hour journey to Lake Mburo National Park. The park is located in the western side of Uganda in Mbarara and Lyantonde districts. Enjoy the scenic views of the village side of Uganda as you proceed to Mburo with stopovers at the equator. You will then proceed to Lyantonde and soon arrive at the park in the early afternoon hours. Check in at the lodge, have lunch, and head out for an optional evening game drive in the park. Look out for zebras, buffaloes, and giraffes among others. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Game drive and Lake Mburo boat cruise

Rise very early and go for a game drive to catch with early risers actively hunting, grazing, and browsing before sunrise.  Our guide will take you to the best game viewing spots for animals like the leopards, hyenas, buffaloes, elands, zebras, Uganda kobs, warthogs, baboons, mongoose, and several bird species. You will then retire for lunch at the restaurant and rest. In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise at Lake Mburo. The cruise offers you scenic views of the beautiful park, wildlife, birds, and local communities.  Look out in the swampy shores of the lake where several water birds are spotted flying over the fresh waters of this lake. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3: Departure

The day starts with a tasty breakfast at the lodge, and we go for a tour to the local communities for the milking experience. Engage in milking and learn how different products are processed from milk. Traditional dances and songs will be performed by local people as a gesture to welcome you into their communities.  From there, embark on a journey back to Kampala. You will have a stop at the equator for souvenirs and proceed to Kampala for your flight at Entebbe.
