Detailed Itinerary

Transfer to Bwindi Forest -Gorilla Trekking

After an early breakfast at your lodge, our guide will drive you to the Park offices for a briefing with other tourists. You will be given guidance on the dos and don’ts of the entire experience of Gorilla trekking. You will then be divided into groups of 8 individuals and be allocated a Gorilla group to track with a guide. Be led into the jungle hiking through thick undergrowth following the path of the mountain Gorillas. Trekking the Gorillas is a vigorous activity that requires some level of fitness. After several hours of hiking into the thick forest, you will meet the Gorillas and be allowed to spend an hour with these giant apes. The guide will be around to ensure your safety and respond to your questions about the mountain Gorillas. Return to the starting point with your guide and be given certificates as an appreciation for your participation in the conservation of the mountain Gorillas. You will then drive off to the restaurant for lunch and the drive back to Kigali for your departure flight
