Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

The representative of Superfine Safaris Limited will pick you from your hotel/lodge after your breakfast meal and immediately get on the road to Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy the beautiful village side of the country as you rush to catch up with the ferry crossing the Nile to the park. After arrival, check in at the lodge and head out to explore the top of the falls of this mighty river. Enjoy scenic views standing at the top of Murchison falls at a very close range. Return to the lodge with your guide for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Explore Murchison Falls National Park

After a tasty breakfast meal at the lodge on this day, you will set off for a morning game drive to explore this large national park. Murchison Falls National Park is known to be the largest and oldest park in Uganda, with a high number of mammals like elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, kudus, antelopes, hyenas, lions, leopards, warthogs, baboons, monkeys, and several bird species. Your guide will ensure to take you to the best game viewing spots for animals, birds and other wildlife species. Retire at the restaurant for lunch and launch a boat cruise in the afternoon to the bottom of the falls. This is undoubtedly the best way to explore the falls as you watch the Nile force its way through a 7-meter gorge before exploding to the bottom where your boat is floating on water.  You will also have a chance to watch the Nile crocodiles sunbathing, hippos swimming, while other wild animals feed at the river banks. Return to the lodge later to relax, have your dinner and spend a night.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale forest/Chimpanzee Trekking

The day starts with an early breakfast meal at the lodge and immediately get on the road transferring to Kibale National Park, the primate capital of East Africa. On arrival in the early afternoon, you will have your lunch and head to the briefing point for an afternoon chimpanzee trekking experience. Hit the jungle after briefing and start the journey searching for habituated chimpanzee groups. These apes are believed to share 98% of their DNA with humans. After a minutes or hours of trekking in the forest, you will meet the habituated chimps and have an interaction with them for an hour. You will be allowed to take pictures or record videos of them as you observe their behavior. Return to the starting point after and meet your guide transferring you to the lodge tor rest. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park   -Boat cruise

7 Days Uganda safariAfter an early breakfast, you will get on the road and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the oldest and largest national parks in Uganda. You will arrive in a few hours of driving through the beautiful countryside, you will arrive at Queen and have your lunch. Head out for an afternoon game viewing experience on a boat cruise to the famous Kazinga channel connecting lakes Edward and George. Enjoy watching the hippos swimming through the fresh waters and the Nile crocodiles. You will also spot several wild animals feeding by the riverbanks. This amazing excursion into the wild will last for some hours allowing you to have your eyes on quite a number of wildlife species like buffalo, antelopes and birds among others. Drive to the lodge afterwards, check in, relax, have dinner and overnight there.

Day 5: Morning Game drive and Transfer to Bwindi

After breakfast at the lodge, you will check out of the lodge and head to the park for a game drive to have your eyes on the beautiful animals. You will explore the tree climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, hyenas, leopards, warthogs, and several bird species. Retire for lunch at the restaurant and proceed to Bwindi through Kanungu. Enjoy the scenic views of the rolling hills of this area and soon arrive at the park. Check in at the lodge, have dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Mountain Gorilla trekking

Superfine Safaris limitedAfter breakfast, you will head to the starting point and be briefed on the guidelines for Gorilla trekking with a team of other tourists. Be led into the forest in search for habituated mountain Gorillas that you will meet the Gorillas and be allowed to spend one hour with them as you study their behavior. After this amazing experience, you will return to meet your guide and head to the lodge. Have lunch and head out for a community tour to interact with the locals and to learn about their ways of life. Retire at the lodge later, have dinner and spend a night.

Day 7: Departure

Breakfast will be served very early to allow you travel early to Kampala with stopovers at Igongo for a cultural experience and at the equator line for souvenirs. Proceed to Kampala and arrive later in the evening.
