Luxury accommodation is best for honeymoons and other travelers seeking exclusive safari experiences. Luxury accommodations cost between $400 to over $1500 per person per night. Midrange lodges and guest houses are second to luxury. They offer a balance of comfort, quality, and affordability, hence the most booked accommodation type.

Midrange is best for travelers looking for comfort but not necessarily the extreme luxury. Midrange lodges cost between $10 to $500. You are required to pay a 50% deposit for your accommodation. If you are booking through a travel agent, the travel operator will require you to pay a 50% deposit of the total safari cost. Part of this will be deposited in accommodation. The most preferred currency is USD, especially in the luxury and mid-range lodges. Budget lodges can accept local currency. In the low season, you can pay for accommodation upon check-in.
