Each morning, these people go into the wild and set their traditional bows with poisoned arrows to hunt down wild animals for meat. They mainly feed on wild meat, either roasted or boiled. When men go hunting, women are busy gathering wild bellies and tubes. These people share their lifestyles in the wild and survival skills. Datoga Tribe
Located in the Manyara and Singida regions, the Datoga tribe is a semi-arid agricultural tribe in Tanzania who are known for being fierce warriors. This unique tribe of people is mostly seen in the Rift Valley areas of Lake Eyasi. These people are famous for blacksmithing, where they craft tools such as bracelets and other jewels from metal scraps. More so, these people are fierce warriors who would pride themselves on killing other groups of people who are not of the “Datoga tribe.” The traditional Datoga women always tattoo some circular parts of their eyes and wear many bracelets, which differentiates them from other women in other tribes
