Superfine Safaris Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy
For travelers booking tours with Superfine Safaris Limited, we highly recommend carefully reading and understanding of these booking terms, conditions, and cancellation policies. These policies have been implemented as a contract between us (Superfine Safaris and the Client booking a safari. The terms are subject to any changes depending on government policies, nature, and any an unavoidable circumstances.
Booking Terms and Cancellation
Upon agreement on your desired trip, dates, and cost given, Superfine Safaris requires travelers to confirm his/her booking. In case a client wants to cancel the trip, Superfine Safaris Limited requires a notification before the date. The traveler should inform us of the circumstances under his/her cancellation some time before the travel date. Late cancellations call for a fee or no refund!
Contract Formation
Superfine Safaris makes a contract with a client once a deposit or full payment is made. After receiving a receipt for any payment from the client, we issue a booking confirmation, which shows our agreement with a traveler for a specific itinerary at a specific cost
Pricing Changes
All prices are subject to change until the booking is confirmed. Prices may be adjusted due to currency fluctuations, government taxes, fuel costs, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Deposits and Final Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
The remaining balance is required to be paid a few days before the start of the trip. You can also pay the final balance on arrival
Failure to make the final payment by the due date may result in the automatic cancellation of the booking, with forfeiture of the deposit.
Cancellation Penalties
In times when travelers want to cancel the trip, he/she will lose some part of the safari cost depending on how early or late the cancellation is. Kindly be reminded that gorilla, chimpanzee permits, and flight fares cannot be refunded in case of any cancellations. The other cancellation penalties apply as follows
-101 days and above 20%
– 61-100 days 30% of the safari cost
– 46-60 days 50% of the safari cost
– 16-45 days 80% of the safari cost
– 0-15 days 100% of the safari cost
Gorilla permits and air tickets are 100% non-refundable.
There will be no refund for any unused services, late arrival or no-show of any of the members of the tour.
Methods of Payment
Superfine Safaris Limited accepts payment by credit card, bank transfer, or online payment gateways.
. Changes by the Customer
We support changes on a booking, such as adding or reducing days of the itinerary. Some changes, such as the addition of days, may call for an extra cost.
No-Shows
Failure to show up for a tour or activity without prior notification will result in no refund and forfeiture of the entire booking cost.
Non-Refundable Items
Items such as mountain gorilla permits, chimpanzee permits, golden monkey permits, habituation permits and fight details are non-refundable
Changes and Cancellations by Superfine Safaris Limited
We reserve the right to make some changes to the itinerary, accommodation, or other services if necessary. This might be due to unforeseen circumstances like weather, road conditions, or supplier issues. We always make everything possible to provide a suitable alternative.
Major Changes
In case we cancel for reasons unavoidable, we offer our clients chances to do a revised itinerary equivalent to what they had booked, we also provide our customers with other alternative packages similar or of the same standard as the cancelled ones. Also, we provide full refund where needed
Tour Cancellation
Superfine Safaris Limited can cancel a tour due to insufficient bookings, natural disasters, political unrest, or other reasons beyond its control. In such cases, we make a full refund of all payments made to us!
Liability and Customer Responsibilities
Limitation of Liability:
Superfine Safaris Limited works as an agent for third-party suppliers such as hotels, Lodges, airlines, and transport companies. Superfine Safaris Limited is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, death, or delay caused by the acts or omissions of these suppliers.
Travel Insurance:
We strongly advise travelers to have comprehensive travel insurance to cover them up in case of cancellations, medical bills, baggage losses and other issues that can come in
Documentation:
At Superfine Safaris Limited, we require travelers to come with valid and correct travel documentation such as passports, visas, and health certificates. The company is not liable for any expenses or losses incurred due to a customer’s failure to have proper documentation.
Health and Fitness
Customers are responsible for their own health and physical fitness to participate in the tour. They must inform the company of any medical conditions or special needs at the time of booking.
Customer Conduct:
Superfine Safaris reserves the right to decline or remove a customer from a tour if their behavior is disruptive, illegal, or poses a threat to others. In such a case, no refund will be issued.
