Wildebeests begin trekking from the Serengeti, crossing the Mara River in Kenya. Besides the dramatic wildebeest migration experience, Masai Mara also offers unforgettable encounters with the Big 5 game. Several predators can easily be spotted during the peak migration season, including cheetahs, hyenas, lions, wild dogs, and jackals.

Day 1: Pick up at the Airport & Transfer to the hotel in Nairobi
Upon arrival at the Airport in Nairobi, meet your senior driver guide from Kenya. Have a warm welcome to a Magical Kenya, and then, proceed to a hotel for relaxation. At the hotel, you will get a short briefing from our expert, which includes reviewing your itinerary, providing insight on what you should expect, and sharing any other relevant information. After the briefing, you will have the rest of the time at the hotel to dine and retire for the night.

Day 2: Pick up from Nairobi & Drive to Masai Mara
Wake up early to organize yourself and enjoy a hefty breakfast at the hotel. Meet your senior driver guide once again, and you will head to Masai Mara National Reserve. Getting to the Masai Mara may take you around 6-7 hours. En route to the Mara Reserve, expect the breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley.
Upon arrival at the vast plains of Masai Mara, get a surprising welcome from some of your favorite wildlife. Continue to the pre-booked camps/lodges to check in and later enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch, exit the lodge to embark on the late afternoon guided game drive. Navigate through the enriching game tracks with the Big 5 game –spot the large herds of elephants, lions, cape buffaloes, zebras, leopards, and many antelopes. You will return to the lodge to spend the rest of the evening.

Day 3: Enjoy a Full day in Maasai Mara National Reserve
Pick up by your senior driver guide this morning, be prepared to embark on a full-day wildlife tour in the Masai Mara. Using a 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, you will enjoy an excellent view of wildlife, including zebras, jackals, wildebeests, wild dogs, rhinos, hyenas, leopards, and more. As you drive, continue towards the Mara River to witness the powerful Mara River crossing –watch closely millions of wildebeests as they cross to the mainland amidst huge Nile crocodiles. On crossing the river, there are also several predators waiting to hunt them.
Today’s game viewing combines the morning and afternoon sessions, plus a picnic lunch. Late in the afternoon, you will be returned to the lodge for leisure time.

Day 4: Second day in Masai Mara
Return to the wilderness to explore more of the Masai Mara wildlife. First, keep an eye on most of the early morning risers, including hyenas, leopards, lions, and others. Large herds of wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, and giraffes, plus diverse species of birds, will also be spotted. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed under a tree shade then you continue with the afternoon game viewing as you return to the lodge.
