The detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up by Tanzania driver & drive to Arusha City
A warm welcome from your senior safari guide, who you will meet at the Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Leave the airport and connect to the pre-booked hotel in Arusha town. Arusha is a magnificent city, also referred to as the world’s safari capital and gateway to Tanzania’s Northern tourist circuit destinations.
Arusha city is the capital city of the Arusha region and lies below the scenic Mt. Meru. This city experiences temperate climatic conditions. At Arusha, you can embark on a short shopping trip before you settle at the hotel. At the hotel, our safari expert will take you through the 7 Days Tanzania wildebeest migration tour itinerary. Day 2: Arusha –Ngorongoro, an afternoon guided game drive
Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the comfort of your hotel in Arusha, and after, meet your senior driver guide once again. Today, the focus will be to transfer you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leave Arusha to visit Ngorongoro, located in the Northern safari circuit, about 2-3 hours’ drive.
Upon early arrival in Ngorongoro, check into your safari camp/lodge for relaxation. Have lunch early and then rest before the safari guide comes to pick you up for an afternoon game drive. Embark on the first game viewing session in the spectacular Ngorongoro, explore the base of the Crater with a higher possibility of spotting a diversity of wildlife.
As you continue descending through the Ngorongoro Crater, you will spot the black rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, leopards, elands, cheetahs, impalas, waterbucks, hyenas, lions, hartebeests, and birds. Start driving back to the lodge late in the afternoon while keeping eyes on a variety of nocturnal as they also start becoming active in the evening, while others rush to their resting spots.

Day 3: Game drive in Ngorongoro & transfer by road to Serengeti
Start your morning with a hefty breakfast and later, catch up with your senior driver guide from Tanzania. Set off to explore Ngorongoro and today, be alert as you descend through the vast plains. A variety of wild animals will be spotted, including the sun risers. Ngorongoro boasts of its rich ecosystem, home to the Big 5 and other multiple species that you should expect to find while they graze.
After the memorable wildlife encounters in the Ngorongoro savanna plains, return to the lodge. Have ample time at the lodge, including lunch break, and then officially check out. Leave Ngorongoro for Serengeti National Park, but en route, you will pay a visit to the archeological site –Olduvai Gorge. From the Olduvai Gorge Museum, drive for about 3 hours to Serengeti National Park. Use the rest of the evening for relaxation and dinner.

Explore the Central region, a vibrant region with diverse wildlife including African elephants, cape buffaloes, jackals, impalas, cheetahs, topis, and more. Today’s long wildlife tour includes lunch, which you will enjoy in the wild.
After the picnic lunch, you will proceed with the long afternoon game drive. Search for more wildlife and birds, then return to the lodge. At the lodge, you will have a great time to share your experiences. You will also be served dinner and later, retire for the night.

Depart the Central region for Kogatende –Northern section of Serengeti, an excellent region for you to observe the Great Migration. You will proceed with an afternoon game drive to explore some of the interesting wildlife in the Northern side of the Serengeti.

The Great Migration in Kogatende is excellently experienced from July to October.
