Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where your guide from Superfine Safaris Limited welcomes you to Kenya.
Depending on your arrival time, you may visit the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, or simply relax before your safari begins.
Overnight in Nairobi.
Day 2: Journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Have an early morning breakfast and begin the drive to the legendary Maasai Mara in south western Kenya. Arrive in the afternoon, have lunch and refresh. You will then go for an evening game drive to see wild animals actively hunting and grazing before nigh rest
Dinner and overnight inside Maasai Mara.
Day 3: Full-Day Great Migration Safari
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Have breakfast and begin the journey following wildlife movements throughout the reserve. The highlight of the day is the dramatic Mara River crossing. On this day, expect to see Wildebeest herds, Lions hunting, Cheetahs on the plains, Leopards resting in acacia trees, Crocodiles, Hippos, Hyenas and Elephants
A picnic lunch allows you to spend the entire day inside the reserve.
Day 4: Fly to Kigali
Enjoy a final morning game drive before returning to Nairobi for your onward flight to Kigali. Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel.

Day 5: Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, go for a guided tour in Kigali city visiting different tourism spots in the city Centre. The popular places to visit in Kigali include Kigali Genocide Memorial, Kimironko Market, local craft centers and coffee experiences
Later, enjoy the scenic drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills to Volcanoes National Park.
Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Adventure
Rise early for one of Africa’s greatest wildlife experiences. Assemble at Kinigi Park headquarters for registration, briefing and gorilla family allocation. At 8:00am, the ranger guides lead you into the bamboo forest in search for the endangered mountain gorillas.
After finding the gorillas, spend one unforgettable hour observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat.
Other wild animals you can meet on your gorilla trekking adventure in Volcanoes National Park include golden monkeys, colobus monkeys, Red tailed monkeys, and Forest Elephants among others
You will be awarded with a gorilla trekking certificate and drive back to your lodge
Day 7: Golden Monkey Trekking and Cultural Tour.

oday, have a relaxed morning breakfast and drive back to the park headquarters for briefing and golden monkeys trekking adventure. The trek to see golden monkeys is not as stressful as the one for gorillas. However, you require some physical fitness. Just like in gorillas, the allowed time with golden monkeys is an hour from the time you meet them.
In the afternoon, go for a cultural visit to the Gorilla Guardian Village (Ibyiwacu cultural village) to immerse yourself in local traditions, norms, customs and beliefs. Experience Rwanda’s traditional dances, storytelling, local cuisine, and cultural heritage.
Later return to Kigali for dinner and overnight
Day 8: Departure
Depending on your departure time, enjoy some last-minute shopping before transferring to Kigali International Airport. Your unforgettable East African safari comes to an end.
