Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The drive takes approximately 8–9 hours, passing through beautiful countryside landscapes, rolling hills, and rural villages. Along the way, you will have a stop at the Uganda Equator for photography and a short break. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by rangers from the Uganda Wildlife Authority. You will then begin your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Forest, hiking through dense vegetation and steep terrain in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trekking duration varies from 2 to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them as they feed, groom, and interact. This close encounter with mountain gorillas is one of the most emotional wildlife experiences in the world.
After trekking, return to your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the lodge (Day 1)
Day 3: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park located in the Virunga Mountains near the town of Kisoro. The journey takes about 2–3 hours, offering spectacular views of the Virunga volcanoes and the scenic landscapes of southwestern Uganda. Upon arrival, you can relax at the lodge or enjoy optional activities such as community visits, nature walks and visiting Lake Mutanda or Lake Mulehe. Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga
After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your second gorilla trekking adventure. Mgahinga is home to the famous Nyakagezi Gorilla Family, one of the most stable and fascinating gorilla groups in Uganda.
The trek takes you through bamboo forests and volcanic terrain within the Virunga Mountains. Compared to Bwindi, Mgahinga treks are often quieter because fewer visitors trek here. After locating the gorillas, you will spend one hour observing and photographing them. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Today, have a relaxed breakfast at the lodge, check out and transfer to Entebbe or Kigali for your departure flight
