Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Welcome to Rwanda
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, a professional guide from Superfine Safaris Limited will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a guided tour of Kigali, one of Africa’s cleanest and most organized cities.
Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial to gain insight into Rwanda’s remarkable history and resilience before exploring colourful local craft markets where you can purchase handmade souvenirs, artwork, and locally roasted Rwandan coffee. Day 2: Kigali City tour & transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, go for a tour in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. Explore different tourism spots in Rwanda in the city centre such as the Kimironko Market, Inema art gallery and Kigali genocide memorial center. You will have lunch and depart Kigali for Volcanoes National Park in North Western Rwanda. The 2-3 hours’ drive take you through Rwanda’s rolling hills, tea plantations, and picturesque villages.
Along the journey, your guide will share fascinating stories about Rwanda’s culture, conservation efforts, and rural way of life. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch before spending the afternoon relaxing with spectacular views of the Virunga Mountains.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Adventure in Volcanoes National Park
Today is the highlight of your 7 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking & Hiking Adventure. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by experienced Rwanda Development Board rangers. You will be assigned to one of the habituated gorilla families before beginning your trek through lush bamboo forests and mist-covered mountain slopes.
The trek may last anywhere between one and six hours depending on the gorillas’ location. As you hike through the forest, keep an eye out for colorful birds, forest elephants, and other wildlife that call the park home.
The reward comes when you finally meet a family of mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Spend one unforgettable hour observing the silverback, playful juveniles, and nurturing mothers as they interact peacefully. This extraordinary encounter is often described as one of the greatest wildlife experiences in the world.

Day 4: Mount Bisoke Hiking Adventure
Rise early for one of Rwanda’s most rewarding hiking adventures. After breakfast, drive to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for registration before beginning your guided hike to the summit of Mount Bisoke.
This dormant volcano rises to 3,711 metres and offers an exciting climb through bamboo forests, giant heather, alpine meadows, and volcanic terrain. Along the trail, your ranger will point out unique plants, birdlife, and signs of wildlife while explaining the ecology of the Virunga Mountains.
After several hours of hiking, you’ll reach the summit where a spectacular crater lake awaits. On clear days, enjoy panoramic views across Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo before descending back to the base.

Day 5: Golden Monkey Trekking and Cultural Experience

Unlike gorilla trekking, golden monkey tracking is generally shorter and less strenuous, making it an enjoyable addition to your Rwanda safari.
