Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your drive guide from Superfine Safaris Limited will be there to welcome you. Have a brie meet and greet and them transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Protea Hotel Entebbe/2 Friends Hotel
Day 2: Ziwa Rhino & Wildlife Ranch (rhino tracking) Overnight Masindi
Today begins with an early morning breakfast and a transfer to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to trek the critically endangered Rhinos. Enjoy a magical encounter with these endangered species, learn about them and have fun. Later, transfer to Masinde where you will have dinner and overnight
Days 3–4: Murchison Falls NP (Nile cruise, north bank game drive, falls top)
Spend these two days exploring Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s oldest and largest park. A hike to the top of the falls reward you with scenic views of the w Nile River and wildlife in the park. Guided morning game drives in the northern part of the park is an opportunity to see wild animals actively hunting, grazing and browsing. A boat cruise to the bottom of he falls offer spectacular views of the strong Nile waters squeezing through narrow gorge dropping 43 meters down. Meals, and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge
Day 5: Drive to Kibale Forest via Fort Portal
Have relaxed breakfast, check out and embark on a drive to Kibale Forest National Park. The scenic drive take you via the plantation’s banana farms and local communities. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Rock Resort/Chimpanzee Forest Lodge
Day 6: Chimp Habituation Experience (CHEX)
Today is for the magical chimpanzee Habituation experience. Very early at 6:00am, get up have breakfast and transfer to the forest for this lifetime experience. You will first have a briefing on the dos, don’ts and what to expect. Start the hike uphill in search for the wild chimpanzees, learn about their lifestyles and the whole habituation experience. The allowed time is four hours from the moment you meet them. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Rock resort/Chimpanzee Forest Lodge
Day 7: Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary walk
Have a relaxed breakfast and go for a guided walk in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary. There you will see various primates such as Colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys red tiled monkeys, black and white colobus among others. The wetland is also home to numerous bird species and ground insects. Return to the lodge and refresh. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Rock Resort/Chimpanzee Forest Lodge
Days 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo -Boat cruise
Have breakfast, check out and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. After refreshment, join the afternoon boat cruise where you will see numerous birds on the lake shores and many animals. In the evening, go for an evening game drive in the savannahs of the park to see wild animals such as Zebras, Giraffes Uganda Kobs, Waterbucks and Bufalos among others. Day 9: Nature walking & transfer to Queen Elizabeth
Have a guided early morning nature walk to catch up with early risers grazing and browsing. The walk is an exceptional way of discovering the gem in Lake Mburo National Park on foot. Return to the lodge for breakfast and early lunch. Thereafter, check out and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for dinner and overnight at Eshama Game Lodge/Engazi Lodge
Day 10: Game drives & Boat cruising
Early today, go for guided gam drives in Kasenyi plains for game viewing experience. Expect to see numerous wild animals which include Lions, Leopards, Uganda Kobs, Elephants, Buffalos, Waterbucks and Warthogs among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and relax waiting for hot lunch. In the afternoon, go for a launch cruise at Kazinga channel, a great spot for bird watching, game and scenic viewing experience. Dinner and overnight at Eshama Game Lodge /Engazi Lodge
Day 11: Transfer to Ishasha, game viewing & transfer to Rushaga
Today, you will have an early breakfast, check out and rive to Ishasha sector south of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The sector is famous for tree climbing lions which you will see resting lazily up in the acacia and fig trees. From there, proceed with a drive to Rushaga sector south of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp
Day 12: Gorilla Trekking
Have ab early morning breakfast and with packed lunch transfer to Rushaga park head quarters for registration and briefing on the dos and donts of gorilla trekking. You will be assigned one gorilla family to trek. At 8:00am, start the hike up hill searching for the gorillas. The trekking time is not certain but can range between 2-6 hours. After meeting the gorillas, the allowed time is strictly an hour. Enjoy this magical encounter with gorillas, learn about their human like characters, take photos and have fun. Hike don, receive your gorilla trekking certificate and drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp
Day 13: Gorilla Habituation
Today you will have an early breakfast, get you packed lunch and drive back to Rushaga park headquarters for registration and preparations on the gorilla habituation experience. Together with gorilla doctors You will then embark on a hie searching for the wild gorilla undergoing training. Take part in training these wild gorillas, learn about their lifestyles and take memorable phots. The allowed time is four hours from the time you meet them. Dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp
.Day 14: Fly to Entebbe for Departure
After morning breakfast, check out and transfer to Kisoro airstrip for a connecting flight to Entebbe for departure
